Christine feels that it’s crucial to act in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. This is why she works exclusively with suppliers who are based within the United States and because of the negative impacts of mining for raw materials; she only purchases 100% recycled metal. She recycles as much of her own metal scrap as possible ensuring that waste is limited.

Additionally, Christine is a proud member of Fashion Takes Action. Members of this wonderful organization take the environment and fashion to heart, working to make their businesses more sustainable while maintaining high fashion standards. The United States is a participant in the Kimberley Certification Process. Although, diamonds are not allowed to be imported into the US unless they are documented to be Kimberley Certified Conflict Free Diamonds, not all diamonds that are sold within the US are truly conflict free. Christine makes every effort to work with well known, reputable diamond suppliers that have made the commitment to obtain the Kimberley Certificates for all diamonds they sell. Additionally, Christine continually seeks outs sources for "ethically mined" colored gemstones and utilizes these stones in her designs whenever possible.
